- I'm a triple dipper. I retired after 30 years in the Navy (23 of them in Japan, where I married a Japanese lady) as a Senior Chief Yeoman; then I retired after 14 years with the City as a Police Records Supervisor; and finally I began receiving Social Security retirement checks as of my 62nd birthday in Sep 2004. I enjoy writing journals like this and just discussing any subject that I have an opinion about (which is almost everything). I love to meet new people on line and exchange ideas or just chat.
